Join other fiber enthusiasts at Transcend Fiber Studio to create fiber art, hang out with other fiber artists, learn new techniques, discover new opportunities, develop as artists, and to fellowship and find inspiration among fiber friends.
The studio is laid out in zones.  There is a fiber processing station, where a large drum carder, fleeces, roving, and other processing and creative fiber preparation equipment can be found. My mother (who has had a long-life dream of having a fiber studio) claimed a corner for quilting and sewing.  The main room of the studio houses the knitting corner with super comfy seating where folks can come and “sit-a-spell” while they craft with knitting or crochet.  The largest portion of the studio is dedicated to weaving, where six (6!) floor looms are arranged in a circle.  The dye kitchen is on the opposite wall of the knitting corner.  It is set up so that I can pursue my own independent dyeing (yarns and roving).  As soon as it is all nice a pretty again (and not a construction zone) I will post pictures of all of the zones.
