LEARN TO WEAVE ON A FLOOR LOOM / INTERMEDIATE: LEARN TO WEAVE OVERSHOT

Wednesday evenings, October 17 – December 12, 2018: 4 – 6 pm @ Transcend Fiber Studio

This class, taught by Master Weaver, Jean Vollrath, will introduce new weavers to the joy of weaving by focusing on dressing a floor loom for weaving a silk and cotton scarf.  The beginning weavers will also experience a mini-dye tutorial using acid and fiber reactive dyes on their scarves after finishing.  Consecutively, more advanced weavers will learn how to weave overshot with coasters.  This allows students to learn the technique for future use, and results in quickie Christmas gifts for friends and family to enjoy heirloom quality coasters!  Class is limited to six students overall.  Cost of class is $120.
